David & Dawna
December 8, 2009
Hands down this was one of my favorite weddings.
Not only are David and Dawna two incredibly sweet people, they made their wedding, well, their own.
From Frank Sinatra, to the hand-tailored suits and fedora hats, Dawna and David didn’t overlook any detail. And as they say, the wedding is in the details.
Their wedding told a story of timeless love: one that endures heartache and life’s challenges. One that truly tells the story of life: the good and the bad. The timeless memories and the difficulties that make us stronger. And there was not a doubt in one’s mind that day, that their love will last. And as David promised Dawna, that he would be there in sickness and in health, you knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that he meant every word.
So here’s a toast to you: David and Dawna, and thank you for showing us all the meaning of modern romance and what it means to truly love.
And thank you Dan, for second shooting with me! You are a life saver!

Tyler and Faith
September 20, 2009
Faith and Tyler were married under the beauty of Oregon trees and the bright summer sky. As Faith walked down the isle to Sigur Ros, everyone held their breath in awe, yet Tyler had a huge smile on his face. It was one of the most intimate ceremonies I have seen, yet unique in the fact that as his first act as a husband, Tyler poured Faith a cup of freshly brewed coffee
Although this may seem odd to you, it’s moments like this that truly make a wedding personal.
So here’s a toast to the both of you:
May your marriage grow stronger through the years and
may you love one another more than this day.
The day you committed to becoming man and wife.

Michael and Lisa
June 25, 2009
Lisa is one of those “larger-than-life” gals, who would rather watch the Boston Red Socks than a chick flick. She is one of those women who greets you with a big hug and perhaps, if she really likes you, a kiss on the cheek.
So it would not only take an incredible guy to meet Lisa’s expectations, but to pass all her friends and family’s expectations as well.
Meet Michael, a kind-hearted man who loves telling jokes and isn’t afraid to tell you what he thinks (but in a good way!) They met while she was bar-tending and after a deep conversation, he left her his number. But she never called, so a few weeks went by and he decided to drop by and give her his number again. Again, she didn’t call. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to date, she just didn’t see the potential… until one day, after several conversations, she finally saw what everyone else saw in Michael. He was the man of her dreams.
So fast-forward several years, and finally it was Lisa’s perfect day. Although the rain had begun in the morning, it ended up being a cloudless day. Perfect for their outdoor reception. So here’s one more toast to you: Michael and Lisa. Thank you for allowing Dan and I to be apart of the day your dreams came true.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of second shooting w/ the Amazing Abi Q . It is so wonderful to see young people care so much about their families on a day that is suppose to be all about them. So thank you to Abi and Tracy and Teresa for letting me be apart of such an incredible day. It was truly amazing…
